Wholesome Products to Support the Whole Dog
Hoji loves Ruff Bar - that much is obvious. However, did you know we first learned about this company through Ruff Food?
We started our journey a few years ago when we learned about Kairos herbs and supplements through some friends who were reps for them. We alternate between Daily Health and Healthy Coat and freeze them mixed with yogurt in for easy daily feeding. When the companies combined to form Big Sky Products, we learned about the whole food ingredients and lack of preservatives used in Ruff Bar and started adding them to our order too!
We try and spend every weekend doing something outdoors with Hoji - hiking, at the lake, and camping in the summer, and backcountry skiing or snowshoeing in the winter - and these are an easy thing to pack, a dog energy bar for a boost so Hoji gets a snack when we stop for lunch! They are also key to have cut up in a reusable bag to use for recall or training - we practice our trail etiquette and move Hoji off the trail or recall and leash up when we see others coming, and now Hoji knows that if she sees a person and comes to us then she may get a treat.
