Real Meat Hiking Dog Power Bars
Ever since Chancellor was a puppy he has been super active and we've had a bit of a challenge keeping weight on him.
He's been able to maintain a healthy weight on a higher serving of a high calorie dog food.
We love being outdoors, especially hiking and backpacking. Taking Chancellor with us is the highlight because he was born to be in the wilderness. But we were concerned because we knew how many calories he would burn and we didn't want to put him a unhealthy situation.

We were also lucky enough to try Ruff Food freeze dried dog food for the first time on a backpacking trip. It is super lightweight and easy to pack and carry. Pro tip: don't put it in your dogs backpack in case they jump in a lake! The freeze dried food rehydrates easily, smells amazing (like fresh ground beef) and is an easy, healthy meal for dogs while backpacking. We love spoiling him when we are snow camping and using warm water to make him a cozy breakfast.
It's nice (almost relieving) to find a brand that cares about our dog as much as we do. We are thankful we found Big Sky Products - Chancellor is too! :)
