Our Ruff Bar Training Treat Collection grew from a simple idea: some of the best bites are the pieces left behind.

When Ruff Stix and Ruff Bars are made, there are naturally ends, trims and perfectly good pieces that don’t make it into the finished package. Instead of treating those nutrient-dense pieces as waste, we turn them into Ruff Nibs and Ruff Bites—small, protein-forward treats made from the same real ingredients as the products they came from.

We take that resourcefulness one step further with freeze-drying. Removing moisture helps extend shelf stability while preserving the character of the ingredients and creates lightweight, mess-free, crunchy bites that are easy to pack for the trail, training sessions or everyday adventures.

Our Ruff Bar Adventure Trail Mix brings those pieces together and adds a little color and variety with small-batch freeze-dried treats made with organic ingredients. The result is an ever-so-slightly-wild mix of shapes, textures and flavors—because using real food thoughtfully doesn’t require every piece to look exactly the same.
